The SRS (Supplemental Restraint System) on your automobile is a complex set of computerized components that are made to respond in microseconds. Accidents happen fast and the system is designed to work in harmony to perform calculations that require several of the system electronics to communicate together and determine which airbags to deploy and at the what velocity. 

You can see that it's not something to be taken lightly, and we feel the same way.
